ALBION chelates

Amino acid chelates called Albion are a true revolution in the field of the absorbability of mineral compounds such as iron, magnesium, and calcium.

In order for these compounds to be absorbed in their original form, and to fulfil their function, the mineral ion formed from the dissociation of the mineral compound in the acidic pH of the gastric juice must be bound by organic components. This process occurs naturally in our body, and it is called chelation.

Unfortunately, the process of chelation in the body is often disrupted by the effects of many unfavourable factors, so some of the minerals provided in inorganic forms can leave the body without being assimilated.

Albion amino acids are formed in a unique production process, as a result of which compounds are formed which easily penetrate the intestinal wall.

Chelate, as a neutral complex, does not disturb the mineral and ion balance of the cell. After absorption, in the process of hydrolysis, the breaking down of the chelate into glycine occurs (an amino acid involved in, i.a., protein synthesis, the metabolic cycle of nucleic acids, and neurotransmission), and elementary magnesium.

The particles of mineral amino acid chelates are

  • totally absorbable
  • neutral and chemically stable (do not dissociate into ions)
  • resistant to the acidic pH of the stomach
  • gentle on the gastrointestinal tract, do not cause irritation
  • absorbed in the intestinal lumen (the jejunum and the ileum)
